Polyresin colectible hand-sculpted and and hand-painted. The year is 50 B.C. Gaul is entirely occupied by the romans. Well not entirely! One small

village of indomitable Gauls still holds out to the invaders…

Asterix was created in 1959 by writer Rene Goscinny and illustrator Albert Uderzo. Asterix is

the main hero ; He is small, mustachioed, cunning and strong! Uderzo suggested that they

add a partner, inspired by his preparatory drawings and their shared passion fot Laurel and

Hardy. ‘’do you see a problem if I add a caracter like that? The little buddy will have a very

strong friend’’. And Goscinny approved the idea. ‘’ we will make a menhir deliveryman.’’

They named him Obelix! He quickly became an essential character!
