Background of the figurine

This beautiful figurine is inspired by an exciting moment from one of Tintin’s adventures. In this story, Professor Calculus has been kidnapped, and Tintin sets off on a determined mission to find him. During his journey through the mountains, his loyal dog Snowy is suddenly seized by a condor and carried off to its nest high in the cliffs.

Because Snowy means everything to him, Tintin doesn’t hesitate for a second. He wraps his red scarf around his neck, bravely climbs up the mountain, and hopes to find his friend still alive. Eventually, he discovers Snowy in a condor’s nest, surrounded by bones – but thankfully unharmed. Tintin uses his scarf to make an improvised sling, ties Snowy safely on his back, and begins the dangerous descent.
