Description

Speak No Evil - Pin Up Collection Figurine - Parastone - 18 cm

Stephan Saint Emett was born in Santander, Spain, in 1962. At the age of four, he moved to France with his parents. He studied literature, architecture and visual arts in Paris. He studied at the famous Paris studio Penninghen/ESAG (école supérieur d'art graphiques) and then devoted himself to animation. He made a short film that won several awards. He also turned his film characters into three-dimensional figures to achieve a better approach and understanding of his film characters. At first he sculpted from a block of polystyrene, soon after from wood paste and then in polyester resin which allowed him to work more practically, more quickly and, above all, more precisely. His passion for women inspired him to create a collection of new “Pin-Ups” from different eras, sitting in designer chairs.
