In 1996, McDonald’s released a set of 10 Schleich Smurfs as Happy Meal toys, beloved by fans of all ages. A special piece from this series is the exclusive Smurf released in the UK, recognizable by the Happy Meal box he holds in his hand.

In 1998, a new series of 8 figurines followed, focusing on sporty Smurfs such as basketball Smurfs and skate Smurfs.
