Game Objective

Look closely at the Smurf Mixer and be the first to collect 5 cards with your blue paddle!

Game Setup

Place the Smurf Mixer so that everyone can clearly see the displayed Smurf.
Lay the 27 Smurf cards face up in the middle so everyone can reach them with their paddle.
Each player receives one blue paddle.
Ready, set, Smurf!

Gameplay

The youngest player begins and presses the chimney of the Smurf Mixer. The rollers spin (fig. 1) and a Smurf appears, which everyone — including the pressing player — should look at carefully.

Now try simultaneously to find among the face-up cards the Smurf shown by the Mixer (fig. 2).
Once you find it, hit the correct card quickly with your paddle so the suction cup lifts the card (fig. 3).

Attention:
Check whether the card you grabbed really matches the Smurf on the Mixer. If not — oops! Put it back and continue searching.

If you caught the correct card, shout “Smurf found!”
You may place the Smurf card in front of you. The round ends.
Pass the Mixer clockwise to the next player. They now start the next round.

Attention!
If two players hit the same card at the same time, the card goes to the player whose paddle lies lowest on the card.
If the paddles lie exactly side-by-side, the round is repeated.

No hiding!

Place your won Smurf cards openly in a row in front of you.
If the Mixer shows a Smurf you have already collected, you may try to steal it before the player who should normally get it.
That player can prevent this by hitting the card with their paddle faster.

End of the Game

The game continues until someone has 5 Smurf cards in front of them.
That player wins the Smurf Search!
