A spectacular chase in miniature
While fleeing from Soviet soldiers, Tintin constantly tries to seize new vehicles to escape. In this scene, he crashes into the quay with a boat and unexpectedly ends up next to this Amilcar. Without hesitation, he jumps into the car and drives off—while an unsuspecting mechanic is still underneath repairing it.

What follows is pure action: Tintin is shot at by soldiers and tries to escape, until the car finally comes to a stop with a flat tire. This scene is full of tension, humor, and improvisation—exactly what makes Tintin so iconic.
