Unique scene / story

In Tintin and The Blue Lotus, Tintin walks along the road disguised in a blue local outfit. At that moment, W.R. Gibbons, director of the American and Chinese Steel Company, passes him in his striking blue convertible.

When Gibbons later stops at a checkpoint and sees a wanted poster featuring Tintin (reward: 5000 yen), he tells the Japanese army sentry that he has just seen Tintin. This moment triggers a dangerous chain of events and shows how quickly Tintin’s situation can turn.
