The Tow Truck 'The Luxor tow truck' - Tintin Car - Scale 1/43 - No. 11

In The Crab with the Golden Claws (page 44, vignette D1), Captain Haddock is kidnapped from the docks of the port of Bagghar.

Immediately, Tintin sets off in pursuit of his captors and rushes into the first car that comes along. In this case, a yellow car... out of order since it was damaged. This wreck is soon towed by the Luxor tow truck. This pickup is inspired by the Matford V8.75, a light utility vehicle developed by Ford and its associate: the Alsatian manufacturer, Mathis. 

The Luxor Tow Truck is part of the “Cars from the Adventures of Tintin” collection. This series brings together 71 replicas of models taken from the Hergé saga. Each vehicle has been faithfully reproduced, with a high quality of finish and details. 

Miniature delivered in decorated crystal case, accompanied by a richly illustrated explanatory booklet (in French and English).
