Description

The breaking - down car of Thomson and Thompson - Citroën 2 CV AZL Belge - 1955 - Tintin Car - Scale 1/24 - No. 8

In 1962, when Hergé drew "The Castafiore Emerald," he was familiar with the Brussels production of Citroën and the enthusiasm for the 2CV, the Belgian "deuche" from 1955. It is known that it first appeared in 1948 at the Paris Motor Show, but fourteen years later, its appearance had evolved significantly. The assistance of one of his collaborators, Roger Leloup, was invaluable to him.

In the late 1950s, Roger drove an old 2CV AZL. He would reproduce it accurately to assist Hergé.

Each car has been reproduced to perfection with a high-quality finish.

It is presented in its decorated crystal case.

A booklet accompanies the car - EN & FR version: this will allow you to learn more about the car that inspired Hergé, including archives on the creation of the album "The Castafiore Emerald" and much more!

Collection: The Adventures of Tintin cars at 1/24 scale.
